I have 42 copies of the book "Buckles/Cruise Family History" available for $40 which includes shipping charges. If you are researching any of the Buckles, Buckels, Buckholtz, Buckholts or Cruise, Cruse or other assorted spellings of these names in Wilkinson, Adams and Franklin Counties then you might like to have this in your genealogy library.
The book contains references to lots of Wilkinson County families but focuses on these two branches. Some of the other names include Owens, Herring, Middleton, Rowe, Roe, Phipps, Wilkinson and others.
On the Buckels side the book goes back to Abraham Buckholts born 1778 in South Carolina Colony and his marriage to Mahalia Middleton about 1794. In addition to the book I will include a supplement that includes the Buckholts family line back to Adolberty Buckholts in 1685, Neilsbert, East Prussia.
On the Cruise side the book goes to Micajah Cruise, b 1797 South Carolina Colony and married to Drucilla Harper.
