My ancestor Peter Cruise born about 1829-35, came to Canada about 1846, and eventually Lachute Quebec. He married Margaret Neill. Margaret Neill's mother was born Maria Cruise. Maria had siblings Elizabeth, John, Ellen and Jane. John went to Miami Manitoba. Ellen married John Norton. Ellen and John Norton were both killed by John Norton's dad in Manitoba. Jane married George Seale. Maria's parents were (another) Peter Cruise and Marie Hannah Newton. Marie Hannah Newton died and is buried in Gananoque Ontario.
