To date, I have been able to solidify the following, but would like to keep going back if anyone cares to share:

Notes for ANDERSON CRUSE:
I searched Heritagequest at the library in the Revolutionary War pension records, found no Anderson Cruse. I did find the records of Joseph, James, and Gideon Crews - all originally from Virginia - however none of them show any relevance. There is a Nancy Crews, but she is older than the Nancy shown married to Anderson, and the Nancy in the pension records is the wife of Joseph Crews. Both Joseph and Nancy resided and died in Virginia - so they are not our ancestors. Some researcher in KY claims to have info on the Cruse family, but instead of just sharing it, keeps sending me on wild goose chases to find it myself, which I have been unable to do. I've offered to pay her for it, but she says that's not the point. She spent years researching, and feels we should do the same. I wish she would quit bragging and just be nice.

regarding the marriage of Anderson Crews to Levina Williams which comes from a very early transcription of Judge Shackelford (several errors in some of his recordings) but his date agrees with that of Bill and Kathy Vockery's recent transcriptions using the original bonds, and returns when available.

(Henry Lynch died in 1849). Malvina Myers, age 57 is in the 1880 Macon County
Missouri census as divorced and head of house hold running a boarding house.
Malvina is still in Macon County in the 1900 census but this time as age 80 she is a boarder.
