I don't know much about the Cudney's yet. It may be a different George Cudney. The Family Search has a George Cudney born 1845 in Sullivan County NY to Peter and Susan Doolittle Cudney and I have Lettie May Cudney born 1842 in Sullivan county NY and her sister Louisa Cudney born 1846 in Sullivan County. It is an usual surname and to have all three of them in Wisconsin (the two sisters going to Eau Claire) just made me wonder about the connection. I'll keep George and his wife in my file to see if there is a connection.
