Posted by: Susan (ID *****9339) Date: November 19, 2008 at 07:46:48

Anyone researching Culpeppers in Martin County, NC in the 1700s-1800s?

I found a Jane Culpepper on the 1790 census for Martin County,NC.
It seems that she is the head of household and has one other person living with her in 1790. A son under 16 years old. Who was this son?

A Jeremiah Culpepper is also on this 1790 census for Martin County, NC. He is head of household. Another male in this home 16 yrs or older...a son? What was his name?

I am trying to find out the parents of Henry Culpepper born 1782...MAYBE this area of North Caroliina...not sure..

Many familes mentioned on this 1790 census for Martin County, NC migrated to Marion County, South Carolina.
O'CAINS, BRYANS, HYMANS, HARRELLS,AND OTHERS...
Any help is appreciated...
