Hello Joyce
I have found out a lot since my original message.
Catherine's surname was Sutton and she was born 1782 at St.Ives Hunts.Although she and Charles had nine Children it seems they didn't get married until 1828 after all the children had been born.
Charles was baptized at Elton,Hunts on 6/8/1787.
He had no connection with Thorney as I originally thought.
I can get back quite a bit futher if you want.
Are you related to Charles, and if so how? - he was my great,great,great,great grandfather.
