I am trying to trace family still in Ireland that are from the William Cunnane blood lines.
William and Mary Brogan were married in 1820.
William was from Gallowstown Townland
Mary was from County Roscommon
She is the daughter of Stephen Brogan
They lived in Gallowstown, Townland, Roscommon Parish, Farm No. 4 A and 4 B.
Gallowstown Townland is just north of Roscommon City.
They had three children: Michael, Mary, and Stephen all born between 1825 and 1837.
When there descendants came to America their name was changed to Cannon.
Cannon is my mother's maiden name.
