Hi Dawn!
Do you live in or near Bruceton Mills? My sister, Joyce Thomas, had a friend Dawn Cuppett (And we always wondered if we were related!). We are descended from Johan Coppje (Which is how a Berlin Cuppett, from Terra Alta) had it spelled. Johan changed his name to John Cuppy, etc. Joyce and I are descended from Daniel Cuppett. Anyway, from everything I have read here, this is the same John Cuppy, as Johan Coppje's wife was Margaret DeVore. Now the story Berlin had is that one of the son's married a first cousin, which was a no-no, and the brothers changed their name so as not to be associated with them. Do you know of Berlin Cuppett? If not, I could give you his address, he told me he loves to hear from other Cuppett cousins. I could send you all the information he gave to me also.
