Your greatgrandfather was Francesco Curci born Ischia 1897. He was in the Italian Navy in WWl. Italia was a ally in WW1 not WW11. The ship he came to America on is on EllisIsland.org. The ships manifest has some family info. The website also has a picture of the ship he came to America on. I am not a Curci, but I know that its a good name in Riverside, Ca to the old timers.
