curtis 1700s NC/SC and beyond

can you claim any of the following CURTIS kin as your blood or kin? or do you simply know of them and their lines...?

russell curtis 1795 NC most likely.
william f curtis 1830 ky
james h curtis 1856 tn
charles b curtis 1884 tn
thomas w 1916
thomas w jr 1949

russell IS related genetically by test to fielding wood curtis, of the revolutionary war group of southern curtis's from NC and SC. by the mid/late 1700s, names like fielding, william, james, bennett, hilary, moses, russell, john, thomas...were also used. fielding may have been cousin, uncle or ? one researcher mentions moses as father to russell, but proof is absent so far. one indiana cousin says "moses curtis 1737" may be a more distant ancestor for us all, but who knows?

russell curtis, 1795 is all i can suggest is mine...help me find my curtis's...

the carolinas, kentucky, tennessee, were but stepping stones to this family. the deep south, indiana, texas,
arkansas, oklahoma, california...are your homes and more i'm sure by now.

well, if this be your bunch o' curtis's...i ask to hear from you.
