Need your help in finding the parents of my gg/grandfather John Franklin Curtis and his parents, etc. I'm thinking John F's parents may be William and Susan Curtis but can't find any concrete links. It appears that William must have died prior to the 1850 Culpeper Co. census because I find Susan on every census thru 1880.
My grandmother was Mabel Mae Curtis born 12/18/1890 in Stevensburg, Culpeper Co., VA
Mabel was the daugther of John William Curtis born abt 1856 from his marriage to Victoria Eleanor Brown
John W was the son of John Franklin Curtis born abt 1830 from his marriage to Hapzibah Elizabeth Walker
Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
