Thank you for your response, Joe. I see that LDS does, indeed, have Alice's ancestors back to a "Le Wodewarde" in the 1300's. Personally, I can only hope it's a good line. Considering the errors I've found in my limited examination of "official" documents, grave markers, etc., I sometimes wonder just what "proof" really means.
