I really want to know more about my family, and while newbies like myself prob make the rest of you rolls your eyes and shake your heads sadly, any crumbs you might throw my way would be gladly snatched up.
My name is Gloriann(Spokane, WA, Jan 2, 1962) and I am the grand-daughter of Ora (or Auora) and Harold Berg, daughter of Robert Wayne Berg and Sandra Diane Bonnell (Williamsburg, Penn, Aug 17,1938), mother of Amanda Virginia Elizabeth Calvin (Anchorage, AK, April 17, 1986).
My Grandmother told me that her mother's name was Elizabeth Dalby of Dalby England.
My grandmother was born in 1900 in the US, I assume, and married Harold between 1916 and 1920 in the US. They lived primarily in Cor de Lane, ID (which I can't spell, sorry). Harold died in the early '70's in Idaho.
My grandparents had several children: Robert Wayne (my father), Dean, another son who died of a drug overdose before I was born, and a daughter whom I never met and can't remember the name of.
I don't have any better dates than that, I'm afraid, or much more info as I've only had contact with my Grandmother (who died in '92 in Spokane, WA) and my uncle Dean, who died between 81-90 also in Spokane.
