Hello there Kris Dalby... I was VERY stricken by your posting, as I think I may have some pieces of the puzzle you are trying to solve. My name is Jai (pronounced like the letter "J"), and my husbands last name is Dalbey (with an "E"). We live in Northern California, in the Sonoma County Wine Country. Now, His grandparents' names are Mildred and Rex, by his father, their son. If Rex is a Jr. or not, we are not sure, but we are going to ask my father-in-law. Any how, I do know that Rex is deceased, and that Mildred is still very much alive and living here in California still. One of my husbands cousins I am very close with also lives here in the area, and she and I have been doing "DALBEY" research off and on for some time now, and she may post here to you as well, for I will inform her of your post also (I know she will probaly have more info for you than I will, or she can get it - her father has a book about the DALBEY's). As we have found, there a lots of Dalbeys in this area, and most of them are related, as Rex was one of many siblings we beleive. Please do respond! I am excited about this, and as I type this message, I am on the phone contacting my father-in-law that May or May NOT be your brother (I think?)...or is it uncle??? Contact us, so we can find out...lol. I called my husband at work, and he was also excited and asked me to respond to your post right away. I hope that maybe you/we are on the right track with this, and if not, I wish you all the luck in finding out who you are. But please respond a.s.a.p... We can't wait to hear from you. Yours, Jai Notify Administrator about this message?
