JOHN W. DALRYMPLE, son of Asa and Elinor Dalrymple, was born in Ammal, N.J., in 1822. In 1826 he removed to Mount Morris, Livingston Co., NY, and from there to Geneseo, NY, in 1852. In 1865 he bought a farm in Perry, Wyoming Co., NY, one and a half miles northeast of the village. In 1851 he was married to CAROLINE GLADDING, of Windham, Genesee Co., NY. They have two children living, Emma Dalrymple and John Dalrymple.
