Catherine 1795, Elizabeth 1811 Dalrymple related?

I am looking for information regarding two Dalrymple women whom I believe may be related. Each is in a separate line of my ancestry,
Catherine Dalrymple was born 5 Feb 1795 in South Carolina to George Dalrymple (1757 – 1804) and Ann Miller. Catherine married Henry Sturm jr. in 1814 in Shelby Ohio.
Elizabeth Dalrymple was born about 1811 in Ohio to George Dalrymple (1771 – 1838) and Rebecca or Rachel Edwards who were both born in South Carolina. Elizabeth married John W. Shaul on 26 March 1836 in Clark County Ohio.
The 1840 Census lists John W. Shaul living next to Peter Sturm (Catherine’s son) in La Salle Precinct, Peoria County, IL.
Any information to either relate or separate these women will be sincerely appreciated.
