My late companion, Richard Joseph Davisson, Manhattan Project Physicist and son of Clinton Joseph Davisson, Nobel Laureate, was the grandson of Joseph Davisson, born June 12th, 1841 in Tarlton, Pickaway County, Ohio, died December 21, 1906, in Bloomington, IL. Married First to Lucretia Thomas, Mother of Mazey Jane Davisson, and, in 1881 to Mary B. Calvert, mother of Clinton Joseph, born 1881, Carrie L. (later Mrs. L.B. Jackson) born in 1885, and Harry D. who moved to St. Louis, Missouri birthdate unknown. Our family has personal and genetic reasons to locate their. descendants.
We know all about Clinton's descendants. We know that Mazey Jane's grandson is the amateur genealogist also of the Davisson family forum, who won't answer his e-mails. We know nothing abotu the descendants Carrie L. (Mrs.L.B. Jackson), formerly of 209 Castle Ave. Bloomington, IL, or those of Harry D. formerly of St. Louis.
