Longmonters Divorced
Mrs. Lulu Lee Nelson White Day is doing her best to untangle a lot of matrimonial difficulties in which she has become involved. Tues she was given a divorce from Frank E. Day, a Longmont farmer. Immediately upon the decree being signed she offered $100 reward for information as to the whereabouts of Clarence Lee White. It all happened this way. Mrs. Day went to Colorado Spring in 1902. Mrs. White, a clerk at the Alta Vista, fell in love with her. He proposed, she accepted and they were married. She, however neglected to explain that she had been previously married to Mr. Day. The honeymoon was of short duration, because Mr. Day discovered his erring wife in Denver, a few days later. White went East and that was the last hear of him. Mrs. Day returned to her first love for a short time. Then they separated. She says now that she made a terrible mistake in losing White, and she wants him back, because he is the only man in world she loves.
