I am looking for the father of Celinda Denio b. 1835 Ill d. 1866 Iowa. The 1850's Illinois census shows her living in Freeport CO. in the town of Oneco with her mother Phoebe Denio b. 1798 NY, (I do not have a maiden name for her), and two sisters - Delila b. 1832 Ill,& Melissa b.1837 Ill. The census does not show a male living with them. I am assuming from the census that he was dead. Celinda was married to my great. great grandfather Henry J. Hoffman b. 1828 PA.If anyone knows of this Denio family please contact me. DPatte1o26@aol.com
