I am also a descendant of John Bowman & Jane Crockett Deyerle. Their daughter, Rebecca Deyerle was my gg grandmother. She married Joseph H. Berry in Montgomery Co., Va. In 1840 they came to northern Missouri, and lived there the rest of their lives. One of their seven sons, James Monroe Berry was my great grandfather. His son, Oliver Bowman Berry was my paternal grandfather. I have much info. on all these lines and a couple of years ago wrote a book titled : The Berry Tree and Some of Its Branches. I went to a Hite Reunion in the Shenandoah Valley several years and met some of my distant Deyerle cousins at that time. I have been invited to the Deyerle Reunion several times but have never made it - hope to someday.
