Hi, I've been looking at the Didier postings. My mother, nee Martha Eiden, was the daughter of John Eiden of Evanston, born in 1865. She also had a grandfather named Didier who she said owned a large farm in Evanston. In fact, Howard Street, the dividing line between Chicago and that city, used to be called Didier Road. I don't know anything more than that, but I would appreciate hearing more. I am the youngest and parents and others are all dead.
