I've just been browsing through the Diener Forum and I've seen just by chance how many people are interested in the Diener families from Bischmisheim in Germany.
My grandmother Johanna Jacob (she is still alive) is a born Diener and she is from Bischmisheim, my mother was born in Bischmisheim as well.
I posted a message in this forum (number 57) this summer, in which I searched for my "lost relatives in the USA". My grandma's brother emigrated to the US between WW I and WW II. The title of the mesage was "Dieners from Las Vegas, NM". Well, this might have been a bit missleading but I didn't know then, how many of you are interested in Dieners from Bischmisheim.....
I'd like to ask all who are intersted in the Dieners from Bischmisheim to check my message (number 57) an contact me if they can help me in any way.
Anyway, of course I'd also like to offer my help to all you Americans interested in the Dieners from Bischmisheim (although I've never done any genealogy research before, but I'm really very interested in it.). As I live in Germany, I think it might be much more easier for me to get access to information about the Dieners from Bischmisheim then for you from the US.
Greetings to America,
