My husband has decided he wants to know more about his family. We've been doing some research, but haven't come up with much. Maybe these names ring a bell with someone out there?
John Napier Dinning, b. 23 Oct 1930 in Shotts, Scotland, d. 1989 in England.
John was the son of Patrick Francis Dinning, b. 19 Mar 1902 in Shettleston, Scotland, d. 1995 in Dunfermline, Scotland and m. on 2 Jun 1928 Mary Creed Napier (1906-1997).
Patrick is the son of Thomas Dinning, b. 1870, d. before 2 Jun 1928 and married on 2 Jan 1893 Margart Garvie in Bothwell, Scotland. I have found birth records that indicate Thomas could possibly be the son of John Dinning and Mary/Margaret Clegg, but haven't found definitive proof.
If anyone out there knows more about this family, I would love to hear from you!
