Looking for anyone connected to JAMES E DOAK who married Dorothy L Clifford 20/3/1948 in Maine.
Looks as though he might have come from Belfast in Ireland (or is there a Belfast in Main ??) I am hoping the Dorothy he married my be my long lost Dorothy or Dora (no initials) as she is called in the 1930 census for Fairfield, Connecticut age 13.
Both her parents died 1934 and 1936 in Connecticut.
Her mother Dora born Isle-of-Wight UK and her father David came from Ireland. Both were immigrants.
