Wow, I really haven't begun to trace the Wires line yet - I can't thank you enough for providing me this info. I now firmly believe I have the Doan line nailed down and if I can find some written documentation to give me that 100% verification, then it will be complete. I am contacting the Athens Historical Organization who should have birth and death records up to about 1906 - so its possible they may have it documented somewhere, all the names and time frames fit perfectly, just hoping to find something to finalize it.
Do you know if someone has the Wires line traced back for Warren Wires? Does someone have a family tree posted for this line?
