Orlando ROWLEY b ABT 1804 in NY, 1860 Farmington, Tioga, PA Census Pg135, #300. He married Jane. They had dau Melissa who married Andrew Jackson Doan b. abt 1833.
I believe mother Jane was sister to Matthew Phenix. Matthew is living with them in 1870 and listed as brother-in-law. Matthew was a widow and I suspect his wife was Maria Crandall b 1816.
I know this is kind of far off the Rowley & Doan lineage but perhaps you have some notes on this, or perhaps it is interesting?
