Hi; You can probably provide more detail BUT I am quite sure this is Your Isaac Slaughter DOAN died in Iowa he was in the Old Iowa Soldiers home in 1920 and died there March 26, 1925 buried Glenwood Cemetery Mills Co Iowa he served Iowa in the Civil War; Residence: Leon, Iowa Enlistment Date: 22 August 1862 Distinguished Service: Side Served: Union State Served: Iowa Unit Numbers: 214 214 Service Record: Enlisted as a Private on 22 August 1862 at the age of 22 Enlisted in Company K, 39th Infantry Regiment Iowa on 22 August 1862. POW on 05 October 1864 at Allatoona, GA Paroled on 15 December 1864 at Vicksburg, MS (Estimated day) Mustered out Company K, 39th Infantry Regiment Iowa on 05 June 1865 in Washington, DC wife Mary L. Children Ida M Doan b: 1862 in Center Twsp, Decatur, IA William S. Doan b: 1866 in Center Twsp, Decatur, IA James M. Doan b: 1871 in Center Twsp, Decatur, IA Ella Doan b: 1875 in Center Twsp, Decatur, IA Dora C. Doan b: 1877 Ora A.
