There are a Maria Doan and her father, Ezra, mentioned in Vol. 1 of the Doane Books.
"EZRA 7 DOANE (Prince 6, Prince 5, Prince 4, Israel 3, Daniel 2, John 1), 4th child of Prince, d. June 25, 1872, ae. 91. His wife, Lavina Spoor, b. May 15, 1783, d. Apr. 26, 1821, dau. of Isaac and Diadama (Smith) Spoor; both are bur. Hudson City Cemetery, Columbia Co., N.Y. Mrs. Doane's first name was carried on by her dau. Lavina Doane, her granddau., Lavina Miller and her great granddau. Frances Lavina Miller. Children of Ezra and Lavina Doane:
i. Henrietta,8 b. Ma;y 7, 1804, d. Nov. 12, 1843
ii. Maria,8 b. July 29, 1806, d. Feb. 1, 1883; m. Robert Martin of Albany. Alfred I. Martin of Brooklyn is a descendant of this union.
iii. Eliza,8 b. Apr. 29, 1808, d. July 25, 1874; m. Henry Barton
iv. Jane,8 b. Oct. 21, 1810, d. 1856; m. David Ten Brock.
v. Lavina,8 b. May 11, 1813, d. Dec. 31,1892; m. Tunis Bert
vi. Helen M.,8 b. Dec. 11, 1815, d. Aug. 16, 1843; m. Abram Gorder (?).
vii. Diadama,8 b. Apr. 17, 1818, d. Apr. 18, 1910, S. Egremont, Mass; m. George Fuller."
