I don't know if this helps of not.
My great grandfather, Joseph Doan, had a brother named William. William married Martha Davis and had six children. One of those daughers was Ethel Doan. She was born in 1897. They lived in Ogemaw County, Michigan. I haven't found any of your surnames in my family but it may be that we are related through Ethel's mothers side.
