Hello Sue. Isaiah Lemuel Doane was my great-grandfather. He was born 26 Jan 1858 in Webster City, IA. His first wife, Estella Mendenhall, who passed away about 1888, was not my great-grandmother. Their first daughter, Mona, was born in September 1880. Next, Inez was born in April 1886. After his first wife Estella passed away, Isaiah married my great-grandmother, Jennie Irene Beach, who was born 29 Sep 1871 in Footville, WI. They were married in Radcliffe, Hardin County IA on 9 Nov 1892. Their daughter Ruth was born in April 1894. Their youngest, Maude Helen, was my grandmother. She was born 15 Jan 1897 in Radcliffe.
