I am looking for information on a Mary Elizabeth Dowd b. abt 1882 in OH. She married Edward Washington Browne some time before 1910. They lived in CA by 1910 because all 5 of their children - (Helen b 1909, Robert T. b. 1910, Edward b. 1912, Francis b. 1916, and John b. 1917) were born in CA. The only info I have on Mary is obtained from the 1920 San Francico, CA census which suggests her mother's name was Ellen (b.abt 1852 in Ireland) and that Mary had a younger brother named William (b.abt 1885 in OH). Ellen and William were living with the Browne family in 1920. Family stories suggest William never married. Mary is not listed with the family in the 1930 census and family stories suggest she had passed away by this time. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
