Dear Jack - I am trying to help my friend, Richard Gerard Dowd, find information about his paternal grandparents. I believe Elizabeth Dowd (Bessie) is his grandmother and Townsend Dowd is his grandfather. Rich's parents have both passed away unfortunately and he does not know anyone on his father's side of the family. His father was William G. Dowd and he passed away in December of 1997. His mother was Theresa Dowd and she also passed away not too long ago. They are both buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY. Rich is most interested in finding out any information about his grandparents including where they are buried. Would you be able to help him? Thank you for your kindness : )
