Does anyone have information regarding a Lydia Downer Gates. I know that she accompanied a Tabitha Husbands, who married Francis Downer, into NC. I am trying to determine where the first John Downer who came into Anson NC originally lived. I believe it to be either VT or CT. Both of these John Downers had a Lydia associated with their family. If anyone can help, it is most appreciated. Carika
