"Are you kin to famous Fultons?"

Sure -- we're ALL famous!

I'm unfamiliar with the "Downers of America" book. Thanks for the tip!

I need to identify the siblings or children of Jonathan Downard of Wharton Twp, Fayette Co, PA. If Jonathan Downard had a brother, David, or a son, David, then I'm probably on the right track -- Downer/Downard is all one family.

I'm a FULTON hunter. EVERY Fulton genealogy claims kinship to "the Famous Fulton" (Robert Fulton, 1765-1814), similar to all famous surnames, Crocket, Custer, etc, etc. None are supported with evidence.

There is evidence suggesting that the Fultons of Wharton Twp are true kinsmen to "the Famous Fulton." But that's another story.

Thanks for reading along and sending me new directions for research!
