Hi again. Wow, you came back fast! Was it the Steam Engine? Some of the Downers evidently brought the first (?)
'pipe organs' over the Appalations. There's an old family argument about someone stealing 'Grampa Harry's' patent of
a Steam whistle - like on the old trains. I wonder if there's another subtle connection here?
About the Downer Book- You can get a Download at fbsimmons1@Home .com. (It may take several minutes, but goes back to the 1600 Puritans. Also, the LDS Library in Salt Lake has it on Micro-Fiche you can possibly borrow via Snail Mail and your local Library.)
