My grandmother has one of the original Downer's of America books and I'd love a copy, so I was surfing around the internet looking for any reference to it and found the following webpage: http://www.genealogy.com/genealogy/46_marthe.html?Welcome=1015696808 It's a CD entitled Life in Early New England Local and Family Histories: New England, 1600s-1900s (CD 449) Reviewed by Marthe Arends One of the books included on the cd is The Downers of America, With Genealogical Record, by David R. Downer I haven't ordered it, but thought it sounded interesting. It's only $25. Has anyone ordered this CD, if so, is it complete? As the article states, it certainly doesn't compare to a paper copy, but for research purposes, it seems like it would be perfect. Thanks for any info. Notify Administrator about this message?
