I don't know if you have the information from the Downers Of America book publisher by David R Downer in 1900. I will list some information but, very little on Dexter. He is the 3rd of five children born to Alonzo and Nancy Lucas Downer. He was born May 23, 1846 ( most likely at Fayette, OH as his older brother was born there and his parents died there.) He moved to Morencie, MI in 1877. Nothing else on him in the book. I have more information on a Darwin L Downer. The other brothers were Dewitt (oldest) then Darwin, Dexter, Dayton E and Duwayne W. Let me know if you want the other info. As I stated above, you may already have this. I live in Michigan but I am not related to this line.
