There seems to be a running tradition in the Downer clan that i am following for the names John, Eric, William and Richard (Clarke). Of course there is also your name to add to that! The John H. Downer who was born in Br. G. and registered with the U.S. draft board you mentioned, do you have any more details such as dates?
