Lyna, Many thanks. I traced the line back to Jean Baptiste. The one you sent me earlier left me with more questions than it answered, but at least I have a straight line from when they left France to the present day.

I actually visited St Pie many years ago because I had spent a summer on a farm there when my father returned from the war. He and mom needed some time together while he studied at Mcgill and my sister and I were shipped off to the farmhouse where both my grandmother and grandfather were born...although they didn't meet until much later.
