Dungan descendant, Bob D. of Boston, Mass., recently sent a photo of the tombstone of Frances (Latham Dungan Clarke) Vaughn that he shot while visiting the Old Newport Burial Ground in Newport, Rhode Island.
Bob included a brief note discussing his efforts this past summer to determine whether there is interest in placing a memorial stone at the burial site, as the original stone is fading fast.
