The new book you are referring to is called "A Quest for Ancestry,William Dungan" The problem seems to be with William Dungan's father Thomas, says Richard was probably his father.
There is a girl on the Helplist who has the book "History of Washington Co,Tennessee" who is sending me the info on the Pearce's and the Dungan's. In the book is a picture of Jeremiah's tombstone, which I do not have, but most of the info.in this book is from,"Ancestry of Jeremy Clarke and Dungan Genealogy"
If you write to the Register of Historic Places, thru the National Park service, which is on the internet, they will send pictures of Jeremiah's Mill and Stone House, and a story on him, very interesting stuff.
I am decsended from James Pearce and Margaret Dungans son John.
