Regarding the names you mentioned. I have Benjamin and Margaret in my genealogy records, but I don't have any record of their posterity. Do you? I also have an Elizabeth Harrold married to James Dungan with a son named Samuel Harrold Dungan. You mentioned Elizabeth and Joseph Dungan and two sons. One son is named Samuel H. Dungan and the other Joseph Dungan. I'm not sure if my records are correct or not, but do you think Joseph and James could have been the same person? Perhaps someone got the name wrong. James, Elizabeth and Samuel are "floaters" in my records. I downloaded some files from the Internet years ago which pertained to our direct line and their names were on the file, but I have never been able to connect them to anyone else. Do you have more information about Joseph (or James)Dungan -- married to Elizabeth Harrold with a son names Samuel H. Dungan?
