Greetings!
I am a direct descendant of Asa Franklin Eads and Mary Miverva Hitson (Hermitage, Hickory County, Missouri).
Asa Franklin Eads was born in Tennessee in 1852 approx based upon research in the Hickory County, Missouri records. No information on Mary Ann Minerva Hitson. They gave birth to my grandfather Fred Thomas Eads on March 16, 1892 in Hermitage, Missouri. Fred T. Eads married Elsie May Green-Holt his second wife, and they came to California with their 5 boys who were: Harlon Loride Lindell and Arlon Holt, Alfred and Asa Eads (Mary's dad). The marriage of Fred Thomas and Elsie May Green produced two more boys: James Walter Eads (1924-1993) and Charles F. Eads (1925-alive in Camarillo).
I am the first born of their first born son of James Walter Eads who wed Violet J. Mahan (1928-1998) in 1955. (Violet had previous marriage with 1 son David)
James and Violet have 4 children:
James W. Eads II (me) April 1956 (2 daughters)
Randy Lynn Eads April 1958 (married 1 daughter)
Valerie Anne Eads June 1963 (never married/no children)
Lisa Elaine Eads April 1969 (married 1 son/1 daughter)
Loride Lindell "Lin" Holt's wife Wilda is in Ventura CA and has a family Bible with information purportedly written in it.
