My paternal grandfather was a Samuel Eaglesham, who at the time of my father's birth in 1902 was a worker in a textile mill in Paisley. All I know of him is that he died when my father was still a boy. I noted that 'your' Samuel Eaglesham died in 1907, so it appears that the time-line at least is about consistent with my grandfather's lifespan. My father's name was Joseph Eaglesham, and was Samuel's only child, I believe, with Annie Lindsay.
Any further info you might have would be appreciated.
Btw, I'm a 59-year-old male - Lindsay George Eaglesham, son of Joseph, and born in Glasgow in 1949.
