A new genealogy site has just been started at:

Our intent is to work together in a fairly small group, to research our early Granville ancestors.
As the community itself was tightly knit, we've found other researchers with valuable information in related surnames such as Hart, Blackwell, Hester, Frasier, Vass, Barnett, Grisham, Venable, Crenshaw, Currin, Stovall, Knott, Speed, Downey, Newton, Daniel, Pomfret, Sanford, and so on.
Membership to the group is limited to researchers with ancestors who lived in Granville Co., North Carolina but you do not have to live in Granville NC to join.
The message boards can be viewed by anyone and members can be contacted if their email address is given.
