The Will mentions wife Jane(Tuck)and the children listed are: Jane(Ross),Eliza (Talley),William Spencer, Indiana(Wilkerson),Sarah A. Newton,Martha A. Pernitia(Wilkerson),John Sumner,Laura E.(Satterwhite),David Washington Eakes and Thomas Parham(grandson, to receive his mothers portion of the estate because Martitha(Parham) was deceased) Date, April 1889. Sorry, but there is no mention of an Alfred in the Will. I have not seen an Alfred in any of my researching. The father of Zachariah is Zachariah Eakes, Sr. known children are Zachariah Eakes, Jr., Woodson Eakes and Beverly Eakes. I will go through my records again and see if I find any Alfred for any of these families. Do you have any knowledge that they were in NC? If I find anything on your line I will let you know.
