I have a picture I found at a junk sale, of John William EAKIN. Written on the back:
John William EAKIN came to TX from Ala. in 1850 when he was 3 years old. He died in 1932 Shelby Co. (TX) (85 years old) I am his grandson named after him (signed) John W. EAKIN I was bornd 1916-10. (The grandson died in 1992, Shelby Co. TX)

Hope to find the family of this man.
