Eakin Genealogy - New Years Resolution

Hi All My Fellow Eakin Family,
I've been out of touch for a while. I had to put the genealogy on the back burner for a bit but I decided, with the new year, that heritage is just too important to set aside. A computer glitch launched my family tree into cyber space along with my address book last year. I know, the first word in cyber land is back up, back up, back up. Well, I learned the hard way and now have a CD Rewritable so I'm working on recovering everything. Many of you will remember me as Gail Davis, Lib is my nickname. I am descended from David Eakin,(1770 Claudy, Ireland), though his son Joseph to John Anderson to John Lyman who was my grandfather. Would love to share information with you all about the Eakin Heritage.
