Ansel & Addie Easton survive the shipwreck of the S S Central America, apparently bound from Calif. to East coast. Was caught in a hurricane off coast of North Carolina in 1857. Story was recently related on the History Channel entitled the "ship of gold" This documentary has run seveal times.

I find an Ansel and Addie Easton showing on the 1900 Federal Census record of Pennsylvania and am attempting to determine if this is the same couple as the survivors of the shipwreck.
