I've just checked David Easton's details (birth) on ScotlandsPeople and found NO David Easton born in Dundee at all. I checked the dates 1880-1890 and all districts in Scotland in order to give a wider sweep. I found one born in 1889 in Forfar and one born 1881 in Kinnettles (both in the county of Angus - the only ones 'near' Dundee.
Do you know anything about his parents? Are they mentioned on his 'entry form' when he arrived in US? How about the dates, could they be earlier or later than I checked?

My Easton connection is through a Thomas Easton who immigrated to Canada (Quebec) in 1929. He also lived in Montreal. He came from Coatbridge, Lanarkshire and was the son of Mary Agnes Rice and William Easton. He had at least 5 siblings. I hope to find out who he married and if he had any children. I don't know whether he remained in Canada.

I will try to look further for you if you want.

Avril
